FRIDAY – open 1:00pm to 1:00am
Break Blade 1-3 – Rygart Arrow is a resident of a world where people can use “magic”. This magic is the ability to control and empower quartz, doing many things from creating light to operating machinery to riding giant mecha called ‘Golems’. Rygart, however, is one of the few exceptions; as an “un-sorcerer”, he cannot utilize quartz, making many aspects of life difficult as well as being looked down upon by the rest of society. That all changes when Rygart discovers that he has the ability to pilot a recently discovered ancient Golem which cannot be piloted by magic users. Despite its ancient origins, the golem possesses capabilities and systems far more advanced than the current Golems, and could be key to turning the tide of battle.
Cowboy Bebop – A mysterious terrorist planning to destroy the human population on Mars using an unknown pathogen. The bounty hunter crew of the spaceship Bebop work to find the terrorist and discover the source of the pathogen before the attack can take place.
Elfen Lied (Anime After Dark) – The “Diclonius” is a newly mutated species. They are similar to humans, but with several differences, namely horn-like protrusions on the forehead and the presence of telekinetic invisible arms called “Vectors”. Lucy, is is a Diclonius held in a facility built for experimentation. She manages to escape and wreak havoc, but is injured in the process, an event which causes her to develop a secondary, childlike personality known as Nyu. Taken in by two locals, the three become involved with the numerous, often brutal, attempts to recapture her. NOTE: This feature is for mature audiences.
Freezing (Anime After Dark) – In 2065, Earth is in the middle of a war with extra-dimensional aliens called Nova. The military develops and trains Pandoras, girls who are able to use special genetic tissue called Stigmata to manifest superhuman fighting skills and weapons. Supporting the Pandoras are male partners called Limiters, who use special “freezing” powers to limit their opponent’s mobility. NOTE: This feature is for mature audiences.
Viper’s Creed – With most of the Earth’s cities underwater due to the onset of global warming followed by a third world war which brought calamity and turmoil to the people, Arqon Global Security Corporation is responsible for protecting Fort Daiva City from terrorism, armed crimes, and renegade unmanned machines called Bug Mechs, by deploying its elite military unit called Viper led by its operatives called Blademen.

Aldnoah Zero – In 1969, an ancient alien hypergate was discovered on the surface of the moon. Using this technology, humanity began migrating to Mars and settling there and founded the Vers Empire. In 1999, a battle on the Moon’s surface between Earth and the Vers Empire caused the hypergate to explode, shattering the Moon and scattering remnants into a debris belt around the planet. In 2014, an attack on the Vers princess during a peace mission causes the Empire and its 37 clans of Orbital Knights to launch a new attack on Earth, this time determined to conquer it once and for all.
The Irresponsible Captain Tylor – In a distant, highly technological future, Tylor, the title character, is a mysterious young man without a real purpose in life, a state of mind that is very hard to determine, and a knack for accidentally getting out of near-death situations with a childishly cavalier attitude. Tylor stumbles his way into the United Planets Space Force and soon gains command of a destroyer and manages to save the day, in spite of his shortcomings.
Last Exile – On the fictional world of Prester, the two nations of Anatoray and Disith are separated by a turbulent region of the sky known as the Grand Stream and are engaged in eternal conflict according to the code of chivalric warfare. A superior faction known as the Guild enforces these rules. It also provides the two nations with technology but, unknown to them, has dishonorable intentions, to preserve the status quo and enforce its dominance of both sides.
Plastic Memories – In a city in the near future, humans live alongside androids that look exactly like humans and have human emotion and memory. SAI Corp, the leading android production company, has introduced the Giftia, an advanced android model with the most human-like qualities of any model, but which has a distinct lifespan. A Giftia that passes their expiration date suffers personality disintegration, memory loss and outbreaks of violence. To prevent this, the Terminal Services are established with the duty of retrieving Giftias who are close to the end of their lifespans and erasing the Giftias’ memories.
Space Battleship Yamato: The New Voyage – During a seemingly standard training mission a month after the war with the White Comet Empire, the crew of the Yamato face a new enemy: the mysterious Dark Nebula Empire. Kodai, Shima, Yuki, and the rest of the ship’s crew have to ally with ex-enemy Desslar in order to foil the Dark Nebula’s plans of strip mining Iscandar – the home planet of old friend Starsha, who helped the crew during their first voyage.
Star Trek Horizon – ConClave 40 is proud to present this Michigan-made fan film with over 3 million views on YouTube! The Coalition of Planets, a young alliance of worlds led by Earth, is at war with the Romulan Empire. Desperate for a chance to gain the upper hand in the war, the Coalition forms an alliance with T’mar, a Romulan deserter, in the hopes that she can provide valuable intelligence on her former masters. There will be a Q&A session with the producer/director following the screening.

Macross Delta – Set in a remote part of the Milky Way Galaxy called the Brisingr Globular Cluster. The Cluster is plagued by the Var Syndrome, a mysterious phenomenon which turns people berserk without any apparent cause. A team of talented idols, the Walkure, uses the power of their songs to calm down the infected by the Var Syndrome. They are assisted by the Delta Squadron, a team of experienced Valkyrie pilots, while facing the interference from the mysterious Aerial Knights Valkyrie fighter team of the Windermere Kingdom, which found a way to exploit the infection on their favor as part of their plan to resume war against the New United Government for control of the Cluster.
Macross Zero – Amidst the violence of the UN Wars, a U.N. Spacy F-14 KAI pilot named Shin Kudo is attacked by a strange enemy aircraft that can transform itself into a robot. Crash landing on Mayan Island he learns that this remote island and its peaceful native inhabitants hold a great secret linking them to the alien space ship and would become the focus of the war, whether they like it or not. Shin eventually returns to his carrier fleet and joins the Skull Squadron, who also operate brand new transforming fighters, the VF-0 Phoenix. He trains and engages Anti-UN forces operating from a converted ballistic missile submarine as both sides fight to locate and control alien artifacts, with the peaceful and agrarian Mayan caught in the middle of the war.
Noein – Fifteen years in the future, a violent pan-dimensional war is taking place between the two dominant “time-spaces” of the universe: La’cryma (a possible future of our own world) and Shangri-La (another possible dimension fifteen years after ours intent on the destruction of all space and time). The key to stopping Shangri’la’s invasion and saving reality is a mysterious object known as the “Dragon Torc”. La’cryma’s elite military force, known as the “Dragon Cavalry”, is sent through space and time to find it.
